• Rugged, multi-plate slip clutches are standard equipment on all models to protect the drive train from shock loads encountered on rough terrain. Retainer bars secure the driveline should failure occur.
• The patented "perma-level" hitch is standard equipment. This unique, heavy duty design places the tongue weight ahead of the hitch pin and provides less wear on the drawbar and clevis. Other hitches are available.
• Select a constant velocity input driveline for an 80 degree constant working angle that reduces vibration and allows a smoother operation in tight turns.
• Rugged construction adds to durability. Boxed channels are full length on center and wing sections for increased strength, and deep side bands allow more volume to be cut and requires less tractor horsepower for operation.
• The optional cardan driveshaft provides up to 55 degrees of turning angle. With much of its weight supported by a hanger bearing, this jackshaft is easier to connect to a tractor p.t.o than heavier drivelines.
• Unique, heavy duty gearboxes carry high horsepower ratings for tough cutting chores. Gears and shafts are spline meshed and housings are mounted with six high strength bolts. All gearboxes feature a 3-year limited warranty.
• Adjustable leveling rods attach to the tongue and center axle. These turnbuckle style rods adjust the attitude of the deck to obtain maximum mowing performance, and allows both sides of the tongue to carry equal weight.

• Choice of 3-point mounted, pull or semi-mount models, as well as a hydraulically-controlled swing hitch that offsets up to 13 inches for use in orchards or on roadsides.
• All the muscle you need for work in material up to 2-inches in diameter. 7-gauge steel strongbacks, 10 gauge decks and 1/4 x 10-inch deep side bands ensure maximum strength and performance. For cutting in heavier mowing conditions, a heavy duty, cushioned axle is available.
• The streamlined deck design inhibits trash and water build-up. Drivelines are fully shielded and a slip clutch is standard equipment. Front and rear deflectors are also standard equipment.
• The Model 3008SH features a 98-inch cutting width and a Category 2 semi-mount hitch. The swing hitch is hydraulically controlled from the tractor seat for up to 13 inches of offset. The 3008SH is recommended for use in orchards and along pond banks or roadsides.
